Product Description

Our Aspen Log Panel Insert Bed utilizes the beauty of Rocky Mountain aspens. This presents rich and vibrant colors throughout every log that brings nature’s beauty right into your home. The unique routered insert of the Aspen Log Panel Insert Bed adds character and flare to our traditional log bed. Tools are utilized in the production process, but there is no large machinery to mass-produce these beds. Each bed is hand-sanded and assembled with every spindle being custom measured and cut to ensure a nice and clean fit. Once it is assembled, each bed is then hand-sprayed with several coats of finish in order to provide a rich and smooth coating.

You will notice that we offer many options in order to allow you to customize your bed to your preference. Choose from our standard style for quick and easy checkout. Or for the more adventurous and those looking for a unique design or look, consider adding some of our available options such as spindled rails, accent rails, and more.

FAQs

  • What Is The Difference Between A Jumbo And A Standard Bed?
  • The side logs on standard beds are roughly 5-6″ in diameter. The logs on jumbo beds measure 6-8″ in diameter. This allows individuals to pick the size of bed that most fits their tastes.
  • What Does The Box Spring And Mattress Sit On?
  • There are 3 available foundations (in order of popularity): 1) A standard metal frame. 2) Underdrawers. 3) Bed Slats.
  • Why Aren't Slats Part Of A Standard Bed?
  • There are 3 main reasons why we do not include slats: By not offering slats as a standard we reduce the price of all of our beds by about $50. Along with reason #1, we have found that often times customers already have a metal frame to fit their desired bed size. By not including slats or a frame into the price, we are able to provide our beds at the best available price. The majority of our beds are sold for use with a metal frame or under drawers. Since everyone has their own preferences, we leave that decision to each individual. The price of slats are found on the individual bed size pages.
  • What Are The Pros And Cons Of Slats?
  • PROS: For those who like a mattress that sits high the under drawers are an excellent option; however, slats provide a more economical alternative. Another benefit is the area under the bed can be utilized for storage if desired. CONS: If skirting is desired to cover the area under the bed, slits in the material are required in order for it to pass over the slats. With a metal frame, any comforter or quilt will achieve a nice clean look. Slats also require additional labor in regards to setting up the bed.
