This Platform Style Bed features a mattress support foundation that is strong and robust. The classic spindle style Skip-Peeled Pine Log Platform Bed headboard keeps the look rustic while the sleek side rails and footboard add a touch of modern to the mix. This bed is handcrafted in the U.S.A. using solid, U.S.-grown lodge pole pine. Skip peeling by hand with old-fashioned drawknives ensures a one-of-a-kind look making the Skip-Peeled Pine Log Platform Bed as unique as it is functional.
The mortise and tenon joinery system employed by our artisans has been used for millennia to join multiple components into a single, solid, and strong assembly thus ensuring a truly heirloom quality piece that will last for generations to come.
