This Skip-Peeled Pine Log Bed with Storage features six full sized (21″ Wide, 16″ Deep and 5.5″ High) dresser style drawers atop a mattress support foundation that is strong and robust enough that you will not need a box spring. Like all Montana Woodworks furniture, this bed is handcrafted in the U.S.A. using solid, U.S. grown lodge pole pine. Skip peeling by hand with old-fashioned draw knives ensures a one-of-a-kind look making the piece as unique as it is functional.
Due to the robust mattress support foundation, the use of a box spring mattress is not necessary.
The mortise and tenon joinery system employed by our artisans has been used for millennia to join multiple components into a single, solid and strong assembly thus ensuring a truly heirloom quality piece that will last for generations to come.
