Weaving together solid log and solid panel construction, our Aspen Log V-Back Captain’s Bar Stool has been carefully engineered to be sturdy, comfortable and appealing. Each stool is completely stripped of bark and finish sanded to be smooth and comfortable to the touch. The stool is then hand-sprayed with a special varnish in order to provide a chemical and water resistant protective covering. The backing of each chair is angled and the spindles have been flattened in order to provide a comfortable fit and feel. For added comfort, this stool model has arm-rests integrated into the design.
When determining your desired stool height, make sure to measure the counter-top where these chairs will be placed. In order to ensure that the arms fit underneath the countertop, we recommend a gap of 12″ between the top of the chair seat and the countertop. Choose from the style of log from smooth materials or a more rustic and gnarly final product. For extra comfort, the upholstered seat option is an excellent choice. If you prefer to maintain the more natural wood look but desire extra wear-and-tear protection, consider adding the available liquid glass finish on the seat.
